Heart to Heart Adoptions

I looked up adoption agencies online today and one stood out to me, Heart to Heart Adoptions.
I called this morning with lots of questions, and asked if I could come in. I was an emotional wreck when I walked thru their doors. I spilled my heart out to a woman name Patti, she was very understanding and sweet. She informed me that i can make the decision and list the father as unknown, which for my safety is what i plan to do. As i was filling out the paperwork today, she informed me that when the time comes, I would get to pick your family. It is comforting knowing I  have say in who your parents will be. I put on the paperwork I want a family who is financial stable, non LDS, doesn't live in Utah, strong education options, and the opportunity to travel.

Rest in Peace Mom

I woke up yesterday knowing it was going to be a rough day, I had a funeral to go to. I went to see my mom Friday and she didn't look well. Her lips were so dry and she barley had a voice. She was so weak, could barley move. I asked to take her to the hospital, she refused. That was the last I talked to her. Natalie got the flu Friday, and I got it Saturday. Sunday I stayed in bed with a migraine. My mom didn't call me once, and she was my biggest fan. She called me 20 times a day, so not hearing from her was concerning.  I have a close friend who lets my mom visit since I don't have a place for her to go anymore, I asked him to go check on her for me. I agreed to give my best friend Ashley a ride to the funeral, so I got to her house to pick her up and my friend called saying she wouldn't answer. I told him to call the police. Three years later

So many emotions come with adoption, some I have experienced before, and others I havent. I cant believe it has been three years already. I get post cards every holiday or celebration. I get detailed updates each March. There are times that I have to wait a day or so to open the envelope with the post card inside, other times I quickly open it up just to see your smile.

I get to share my story...

Back in November 2018 I made an appointment to get a ultrasound done to see how far along I was at the Pregnancy Resource Center of Salt Lake City. That appointment changed my life forever. The nurse, Sara, I will never forget. After leaving the PRC with all the information educating me about all of my options, I realized I wanted to bless a family with the baby that they dream of having. Since that day I have kept in contact with Sara. I recieved an email asking if I am willing to do an interview for the PRC. I get to share my story 😀
